Cutaneous skin tags are small, usually harmless (benign) skin growths. Cutaneous tags are very common skin growths. They usually occur after midlife and are usually harmless and non-cancerous (benign). The tag sticks out of the skin, and may have a short, narrow stalk connecting it to the surface of the skin They are commonly located on the neck, armpits, trunk, body folds, or other areas. They are usually skin-colored, occasionally darker.

Moles are growths on the skin that are usually brown or black. Moles can appear anywhere on the skin, alone or in groups.
